Brendhan was appointed Chief Executive Officer in December 2016. Prior to his appointment he was GM Operations for six years. Brendhan is an experienced Senior Executive with extensive dairy industry experience.
His previous career was with Fonterra where he held various roles, including regional operations and regional business roles in the Middle East and SE Asia. Brendhan holds a Bachelor of Management Studies degree from The University of Waikato with majors in Accounting and Finance. Brendhan is Tatua’s ninth CEO, or equivalent leader in its 102 year history.
Michelle was appointed General Manager Finance and Administration in August 2018 to lead Tatua’s finance and ICT team. She has more than 20 years’ experience in Tatua’s accounting team, her previous role was as Financial Controller, a position which she held for 16 years.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Management Studies degree, majoring in Accounting from the University of Waikato.

Employed at Tatua since 1994, Paul has recently been appointed to the position of General Manager Co-operative Affairs. Paul’s responsibilities includes Tatua shareholder on-farm performance management, corporate secretarial duties, regulatory affairs, policy submissions, administration of milk solid entitlements as well as being an advisor on constitutional matters.
Prior to this, Paul has extensive experience as Tatua’s Supplier Services Manager. Paul’s background is in environmental management in local government.
B Soc. Sci – HR & Industrial Relations
Pier joined Tatua in 2012 as Tatua’s HR Manager. Her previous experience includes more than 20 years’ in human resources management roles in the HR industry in the UK and New Zealand, including various HR roles at Fonterra. Pier manages the HR team, responsible for Tatua’s employees.
BMS (Waikato), MBA (INSEAD)
Susanne was appointed General Manager Marketing and Sales in April 2018. She leads Tatua’s global marketing and sales team which includes subsidiary offices in Japan, China and the USA. Susanne has extensive experience leading global marketing and commercial teams for Nestle, Coca Cola Amatil, Danone and Mondelez International across markets including Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Russia, Switzerland and Singapore.
She holds a Bachelor of Management Studies degree, majoring in Marketing and Finance from the University of Waikato and an MBA from INSEAD, Paris.
B.Tech (Massey), M.DairyScTec (Massey)
Tim Keir joined Tatua in January 2018 after an extensive career with Fonterra and New Zealand Dairy Group. Tim’s dairy experience includes working in the commodity and high value nutrition areas, engineering and milk collection. He has spent time in NZ, Asia, USA, Europe and the Middle East working with vendors and customers optimising value streams.
Tim holds a Masters degree in Dairy Science and Technology, and a Bachelor of Technology majoring in Environmental Engineering from Massey University. Tim leads Tatua’s manufacturing, technical services, engineering, supply chain, procurement and waste water teams.
B.Sc.(Tech) (Waikato), AMP (INSEAD)
Tim has worked at Tatua from 1993 to 1998 and from 2001 to present in a variety of roles including R&D Technologist, Business Development Manager North Asia, and Business Manager of both the Specialty Nutritionals and Bionutrients divisions. His considerable dairy industry experience includes commercialisation of new products and processes, operational and market technical, food technology expertise, international sales development and business unit management. Tim has most recently been working as Tatua’s Commercial and Technology Manager.
In his current role he is responsible for progressing strategic projects and opportunities that are aligned with Tatua’s strategic direction. Tim is a Director of MilkTestNZ and Tatua Dairy Products Shanghai Co. Ltd.
