That’s why we work with our farmers, communities and partners to manage our environmental footprint in practical, measurable ways.
Our approach is evidence-based and focused on real outcomes. We track our performance to understand what’s working and where we can go further. Measurement helps us identify opportunities for improvement, compare outcomes over time and validate what’s working and make adjustments where needed
A whole-farm approach
Tatua 360 is our responsible farming programme. It reflects our belief that good environmental practice goes hand-in-hand with strong animal care, farming systems and high milk quality.
Tatua 360 brings consistency and accountability to how farms manage their resources, supporting outcomes that are good for the land, animals, people and the products that follow. Every farm meets rigorous standards for sustainability, animal welfare and milk quality.

Managing water and soils
We promote responsible farming and look for ways to reduce our impact on land, water, energy and waste, both on-farm and at our manufacturing site.
Reducing waste and emissions
Using 2023 as a baseline, we have reduction initiatives vary from utilizing emission technology as well as reducing carbon emission impact through planting, biodiversity corridors, shelterbelts, riparian planting, and on-farm sequestration opportunities.
Collaboration and support
Environmental sustainability is collective. We share insights, enable training and work with partners who help lift capability across farming and manufacturing.
